American Idol Season 8 - May 13, 2009 Elimination- Danny Goes Home - Kris and Adam Compete in Final

Kris Allen and Adam Lambert are the Top Two vote grabbers and will be competing for the title of American Idol 2009! Wow! In what some will view as an upset, Danny Gokey received the fewest of the over 88 million votes and goes home. Danny has never been in the bottom three.
The show was just killing time til the announcement, except for one part. American Idol has a program called Idol Gives Back. Part of the proceeds raised go to educate African children about AIDS; they in turn go home and educate their parents. Also, funds contributed make life a little better for African residents. One resident, "Noah" has a dream to sing so American Idol brought him in to perform. This young man from Rwanda learned the English words to "I'm the World's Greatest" just this week and did a great job. You could see he loved singing, dancing and performing. It was just cool to watch.
Back to the finalists: Danny, Kris and Adam were called from backstage one at at time as the video from their hometown visits was shown. Then, each was told to go have a seat until, at the end of the show the results were revealed. If they revealed the top two in order of votes received, Kris Allen received the highest votes last night.
I really thought Danny would be in the top two and Simon had gone on record with that prediction also. Great minds think alike? maybe, but we were both wrong. Danny will make records and I believe he will be successful. Adam? I don't know...now I wonder if Kris might just win the whole thing. If those who voted for Danny throw their support behind Kris, it could happen. Only one more week and we will know this year's winner. Who are you voting for?

With Danny out, I am pulling for Kris to win. I think he will pick up the "Danny" vote and edge out Adam. Thanks for reading and commenting.its not fair.....danny is way better thn kris.his voice is so unique...he deserved to stay. i wish adam win, his one of a kindneway gud luck kris ur gud 2
